The purpose of this contract is the provision of communications services (voice and data, fixed and mobile) and Internet, within and outside Spanish territory, necessary to provide the entities of the General State Administration and other public entities with high-quality communications for all their locations and all their employees, starting from the current situation and with the objective of converging the existing networks. It is divided into four lots:
- Lot 1: National Data Network. Covers national multi-service data networks.
- Lot 2: National Fixed and Mobile Voice Network. Covers fixed telephony and mobile communications needs at the national level.
- Lot 3: Data Processing Center Interconnection, Security and Internet Services.
- Lot 4: International Network. Covers the needs of the International Network of the General State Administration.
