Click here for more informationThe processing of a new centralised purchasing contract for postal services for administrative and judicial notifications has begun, which is scheduled to commence on 1 November 2020, to replace the current contract. Its initial term will be of 25 months, with a possible extension of a further 12 months. The subjective scope of this contract includes all ministerial departments and State public sector bodies, as well as the social security management agencies.
The public tender for the new centralised contract for postal services of ordinary and certified letters, mailshots and pre-paid postage was published on the Public Sector Purchasing Platform on 17 August, which is scheduled to commence on 1 January 2021. Its initial term is of 35 months, with a possible extension of up to 12 months. The subjective scope of this contract includes all ministerial departments and State public sector bodies, as well as the social security management agencies. The purpose of the contract is to provide a service for ordinary and certified letters, both nationally and internationally, as well as urgent mail nationally. This does not include urgent international letters or certified international letters. It also includes mailshots and periodic publication services, both nationally and internationally, pre-paid postage and the reported return of ordinary letters.
As from 1 September 2020, all proposed awards for direct purchases under the framework agreements for the automotive industry (14, 17, 18 and 19) with a budget and delivery for 2020 must incorporate a declaration of conformity by the company under the heading “Acceptance of service conditions by the company”.
