On 18 January 2021, a resolution was handed down to extend Framework Agreement 26/2015, on development services of electronic government systems, for a period of one year, from 2 February 2021 to 1 February 2022, unless the dynamic acquisition system, which must provide continuity to the current framework agreement, comes into force prior to this date, in which case the date of the end of the extension will be immediately prior to its entry into force.

Given the finalisation of Framework Agreement 50/2017, for the provision of services to buy media space and other advertising platforms to display institutional publicity campaigns, a resolution is to be issued on 28 February 2021 to determine the deadline to initiate procurement proceedings under this framework agreement.

Click here for more informationThe public tender for the new centralised contract for postal services of ordinary and certified letters, mailshots and pre-paid postage was published on the Public Sector Purchasing Platform on 17 August, which is scheduled to commence on 1 January 2021. Its initial term is of 35 months, with a possible extension of up to 12 months. The subjective scope of this contract includes all ministerial departments and State public sector bodies, as well as the social security management agencies. The purpose of the contract is to provide a service for ordinary and certified letters, both nationally and internationally, as well as urgent mail nationally. This does not include urgent international letters or certified international letters. It also includes mailshots and periodic publication services, both nationally and internationally, pre-paid postage and the reported return of ordinary letters.
